Inside the Bracket

2021-22 Season Preview coming soon!

Welcome to a full year of College Hoops in 2021-22! This off-season was a non-stop flurry of transfer news and scheduling news. This season promises to be compelling, particularly with the additional Covid year being in play for the first time. The numbers don’t lie. We will see an unprecedented amount of older teams in our sport, several teams running it back from last year, and an increased number of transfers who found other opportunities. The main deficit will likely come from the Freshman class, where there may be fewer frosh than ever in D1 Basketball.

I’d like to thank the College Basketball community for working with our website year-round to continue making it a valuable resource for programs, media members, and fans. There are way too many people to thank for their time working with us. We truly aim to grow this site annually. Enhancing our exposure has been a transformational way to learn more about all aspects of the sport. Brackeeter.Org appeared at several conference Media Days in recent weeks.

You will also find Rocco Miller’s work on several platforms throughout this season:

  • Several national CBB podcasts and Radio interviews - will be shared on Twitter

And finally, a Preseason Bracket is in the works. The plan is to post it by November 8th.  It will be comprised of what we know today about the Selection Committee, a vetting of rosters and personnel updates, Schedule Strength, and predictive Conference strength for this season.  Make sure to check back early next week.

Leading up to the bracket, we will have a two-part season preview that contains all 32 conferences broken down by multi-bid leagues or one-bid leagues. You will find the predicted regular-season champion and predicted tournament champion for each conference in the coming posts.

Thanks,

Rocco
