SEC Non-Conference schedules for the 2024-25 season.
Conference Play Outlook: Each SEC team plays the other 15 teams at least once during league play. They will then play their three permanent opponents a second time with the remaining two games changing yearly. 18 total league games are played per school.
League play opponent pairings for 2024-25
With the league moving to 16 teams, each team will play two permanent opponents and one rotating opponent home and away, plus the 12 remaining teams in single contests either home or away, for 18 total conference games.
SEC Men's Basketball Tournament: All 16 teams will compete in a single-elimination format, consistent with the current format but with two additional games. The top four seeded teams will continue to receive a bye through the tournament's first two rounds.

SEC/ACC Challenge
The second annual SEC/ACC Challenges will take place over back-to-back days. The challenge games will be Tuesday, Dec. 3, and Wednesday, Dec. 4. In the first year of the ACC/SEC Challenge in 2023, both the men’s and women’s events, featuring 14 games, finished in 7-7 ties. The events expand to 16 games this season with the expansion of both conferences starting this summer ahead of the 2024-25 athletic year.
