Big XII Non-Conference schedules for the 2026-27 season.
Conference Play Overview: After just one season with a 20-game format, the Big XII shifted to an 18-game conference schedule in 2025-26. That will continue once again for the 2026-27 campaign. This adjustment allows squads to benefit from one or two byes during league play. Under this model, each team will face three opponents, both home and away, while the remaining conference games will be single matchups—either at home or on the road.
Notably, there is no interconference “challenge” planned for this season.
Conference play is expected to begin in the final week of December and run through the first week of March. The Big 12 Tournament is scheduled for March 9–13 at T-Mobile Arena in Kansas City, MO. Notably, T-Mobile Arena will also host the 2027 NCAA Midwest Regional Semifinals and Finals.
