Mountain West
Tracking the 2026-27 Mountain West Conference non-conference schedules.
The Mountain West has had a complete makeover with a handful of its top teams moving on to the new Pac-12 (Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State). In an effort to replenish, the MWC welcomes Hawai’i, UC Davis, and UTEP this season to reach 10 member schools. Grand Canyon, New Mexico, Nevada, and UNLV are expected to be the league’s most likely anchor teams to ideally reach multiple NCAA Tournament bids for the conference.
The conference will feature an 18-game league slate for the 14 members of the conference. Each squad will have to play five opponents twice and eight opponents once over the course of 126 conference-play games. The conference has carefully selected matchups for the home-and-home pairings. UMass has joined the MAC to reduce the league total from 15 to 14 members.
