BIG BOARD
The Big Board, which incorporates the 1-68 Seed List, and the next set of teams in the hunt for an At-Large. This is intended to give the College Basketball community a glimpse of the big picture.

OFFSEASON SUMMARY
The Offseason was chaotic on several levels. Most critically for the work done here at Bracketeer, a 76-Team field is coming in 2027. Ready or not, here we go. There were well over 60 coaching changes, including Oregon’s Dana Altman as last-minute surprise retirement. Portal and court room mayhem once again ruled the headlines, with noticeably more money flowing at the top of the pyramid to impact roster depth (High Majors) and severe roster limitations (Mid-to-Low Majors).

The New Bubbles in 2027: The last 12 At-Large teams (not in bold) will play an opening-round game in either Dayton or Wichita. The last 12 Automatic Qualifiers will play an opening round game in either Dayton or Wichita. In all cases, teams are matched with the opponent next on the board (in-season rematches will be avoided).
