Tracking the 2024-25 Conference USA non-conference schedules.
Conference Play Outlook: Each of the 10 institutions is scheduled to play the other nine home-and-away. On July 1, CUSA welcomed Kennesaw State to bring the league’s membership to 10 schools. The Owls made their first NCAA Tournament appearance in the 2022-23 campaign.
UTEP will play at Western Kentucky on Thursday, January 30th, and host the Hilltoppers on Thursday, February 27th. The meetings represent CUSA Championship Game rematches from a year ago. This season shapes up to be a balanced and competitive race. Three matchups on the opening night of conference play feature Sam Houston traveling to face New Mexico State in another Jason Hooten Bowl, Liberty hosting WKU, and UTEP hosting Louisiana Tech. Those particular games are projected as early league race shifters.
The 2025 Conference USA Basketball Championships will be hosted at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala., March 11-15.
